After a very long time, the Central Prairie Railway is coming back to life.
It has been a few months since the CePR turned a wheel. Customers were angry! Phone calls were made!
Finally two refrigerated boxcars were spotted at McCain, and a few cars were pulled off the CN interchange, a train was made up, and pulled from Grand Plains to Warrant.

In a first for the CePR, the railways two C424s were MU’ed together and switched Grand Plains.

Exciting times at the CePR!

Carloads changing like the seasons. Glad to see the CePR is back for its own new season.
That pair of 424’s looks nice. Is there a reason they’re typically run separate?
